Tasted in November 2020– We usually say our Altostratus Pinot Noirs drink best between four and seven years but we’re definitely reviewing this maxim. It’s still fresh and bold at five years in and shows no sign of diminishing. If anything, it’s really coming into balance. Another five years in the cellar would be a cakewalk.
2018 > This wine is now available for general public release. It’s really starting to come into it’s own. It’s a big wine with plenty of complex flavour. It has the body one would usually associate with a Merlot or a modest Syrah. It’s taken a few years to sort itself out but I think it will be a classic going forward. – Bradley Cooper, winemaker, February 2018
